The CURE Foundation, in cooperation with the Alternative Center for Girls from Serbia, the Center for Education, Counseling and Research (CESI) from Croatia and the NGO Prima from Montenegro and with the support of the Western Balkans Fund, implements the UProot Gender Based Violence project. The project aims to further build capacity and exchange experiences at the regional level in order to eradicate gender-based violence. The idea is to work on spreading and transferring knowledge while initiating meetings between various non-governmental organizations from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Serbia and Croatia, in order to improve social, political and cultural relations with the aim of ending gender-based violence and increasing the knowledge of activists who deal with issues of the GBV and youth. During the implementation of the project, it is planned to create a unified manual on gender-based violence that will be used to improve the availability of high-quality learning opportunities. All partner organizations will be actively involved in the creation of the manual, contributing to the eradication of gender-based violence by joint participation and inclusion of women in the normalization of relations between some of the mentioned countries in the context of EU integration. This would have a direct impact on women’s voices being heard and included in solving this issue.
