Building up anti-gender resilience movement in Bosnia and Herzegovina is a project implemented by the CURE Foundation from April 1, 2024, to March 31, 2025, and funded by the Kvinna till Kvinna Foundation.
Through this project, we aim to strengthen the resilience of local actors in countering the anti-gender movement and gender-based violence (GBV) in our country. By mapping local actors from both formal and informal grassroots groups and creating a Handbook of Resilience, we hope to empower local activists. This will be achieved through two integrated security workshops (ISW) focused on human rights and campaigning skills, enabling them to launch a Resilience Campaign during the 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence and on March 8th.
The project will bring together at least 20 activists from women’s rights organizations, LGBTIQ* activists and advocates, and feminist activists. It will create a space for individual and collective growth, facilitate discussions on anti-gender movements in the region, and address the threats we collectively face. Through this process, we aim to transform our experiences and newly acquired knowledge into actionable strategies for countering these challenges.
