During the 16th Day of Activism Global Campaign against Gender-Based Violence, the CURE Foundation organized a series of events in cooperation with women’s organizations. All activities have been realized within the program “All Equal All Visible”.
On the International Women’s Day, November 25, 2018. The CURE Foundation organized a street action in front of the Sarajevo Market, and within the same program, the Association Viktorija Pale in cooperation with the CURE Foundation held a round table in the Municipality of Pale dedicated to the issue of violence against women.
On the day, November 27, 2018. activist Nedžada Avdić from Tuzla gave support to the program “All equal All visible” by organizing the promotion of the book “They Are Our Today …” held in Konjević Polje.
The day before the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, the CURE Foundation, in cooperation with the informal group “Bugojanka”, the Association “DONNA” and the Women with Disabilities Network organized the 2nd of December visit to the Nursing Home in Potočani, Bugojno.
03.12. with the aim of marking the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, the CURE Foundation together with the Special Moms organized a round table and street action in Sarajevo.
Target advocacy of institutionalization on December 8th “ Day of Remembrance of Women killed during the war” CURE Foundation in cooperation with the Sinapse Association of the Faculty of Philosophy in Sarajevo organized a distribution of flowers and information leaflets to citizens.
Activists and representatives of the Association H.O. Horizonti from Tuzla and the New Women’s Initiatives (Nove Ženske Inicijative) marked the 8th of December in Tuzla where they talked with citizens about the importance of preserving memories of women who were killed in the war.
The CURE Foundation is involved in the initiative to commemorate the “ Day of Remembrance of Women killed during the war”. With many activists throughout BiH, December 8 marks as the “ Day of Remembrance of Women killed during the war in B&H“, and they jointly advocate that 8.12. enter the official calendar of B&H holidays.
The program “All Equal All Visible” was created in 2017 as a process of ongoing activist work by the Foundation CURE and other women’s organizations to ensure the equal participation of women in all policies and the visibility of particularly marginalized groups of women in small local communities.
