First Advocacy Training “All Equal, All Visible” in Tuzla

CURE Foundation in the period from 24th-26th April 2018. in Tuzla, organized the first advocacy training within the program “All Equal All Visible”, which is strategically implemented by the CURE Foundation from 2017th. The training was attended by representatives of women’s organizations New Women’s Initiative, Amica Educa Association, Association “Tinja” and Association “Heart and Soul” Prokosovići, from Tuzla, Živinice, Lukavac, Prokosović and Tinje.

Participants had the opportunity in three days to master the techniques of writing SWOT analysis, advocacy tools and listening to some inspiring and successful advocacy stories from local communities.

They also got acquainted with the PitchWise Festival of Women’s Art and Activism, which CURE Foundation organizes each year, and all participants were invited to join us at the festival this year.

We have mapped all potential allies in advocacy and lobbying processes. They emphasized that for them, this education is important for further work processes in all social aspects of solving the problems which they are facing daily.

In the end, participants responded to the question of the importance of conquering women’s spaces that allow us to engage and not remain shelled in the imposed space.
