29th of June, 2018. The CURE Foundation organized a training entitled “All equal all visible”. The training was organized at the Public Institution High School center Hadžići and gathered women from Hadžići, Ilijaš and Semizovac.
The training was attended by 13 representatives of various political parties as well as women’s rights activists.
The main goal of the training was to address the problems women face in the Hadžići area as well as mastering advocacy techniques and tools. The participants noted that this training was useful regarding local elections that will happen in October 2018, and that the acquired knowledge will be used to develop a policy strategy at the political level.
Some participants have pointed out:
– There is a lack of activity by women. Similar activities are needed to make women more aware and gain more knowledge of opportunities and activism.
– Dear CURE just keep doing so and I’m glad I had the opportunity to be part of this workshop.
The continuation of the cooperation was agreed as it was last year, regarding the organization of street action as the part of 16t Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence campaign.
