16 days of activism: Enforce the Law. Protect every woman and girl!

Through the campaign entitled Enforce the Law. Protect Every Woman and Girl! carried out both online and in public spaces through billboards in Mostar, Tuzla, Sarajevo, Višegrad, Banja Luka, Zenica, Travnik, Kiseljak and Istočno Sarajevo, we draw attention to the ongoing cases of the abuse and exploitation of girls and the rise of femicide in Bosnia and Herzegovina, across both of its entities.

In doing so, we call upon institutions at all levels of government to protect all women and girls in our country, and especially those who are the most vulnerable – children and young people. U

nited in solidarity and resilience, we emphasise that every act of violence against women is a priority political issue affecting society as a whole and one that requires the strongest criminal sanctions permitted in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

We demand proactive systemic changes, adequate protection mechanisms and transparent institutional accountability to ensure a dignified, safe and peaceful life for all women and girls.

This campaign is our outcry against all structures that minimise or relativise violence, and our call to institutions to guarantee that every girl, young woman and woman can feel safe and free within her community.

The campaign is financially supported by the Kvinna till Kvinna Foundation and UK International Development.
