WIN announcement:

Paula Fellingham, CEO of The Women’s Information Network, speaks about
International Women’s Day, a holiday in 32 countries but not in the U.S.
Saratoga Springs, Utah, Sept. 14, 2010 — The Women’s Information Network
(www.theWINonline.com) is hosting the largest live and Web streaming women’s event in world
history on March 8, 2011 in celebration of the 100th anniversary of International Women’s Day.

Paula Fellingham, CEO of The Women’s Information Network (WIN) — the largest worldwide media
and social network for women helping women — announced today that “WIN will host International
Women’s Day – ‘This is Our Time’ concurrently in 10 U.S. cities and online through live Web streaming
in 176 countries to celebrate and honor women, past, present and future.”
Joined by female political leaders, celebrities, experts, thought leaders, musicians, mothers and
daughters, the WIN International Women’s Day festivities will occur concurrently in New York City,
Washington D.C., Chicago, Atlanta, Miami, Houston, Denver, Seattle, San Francisco, and Los Angeles.
Long-celebrated as a national holiday in 32 countries, Fellingham has worked tirelessly to raise
awareness of International Women’s Day in America, where it has yet to be recognized as a national
holiday.

“Since organizing International Women’s Day – ‘This is Our Time’ we have learned of other women’s
events planned for March 8, 2011. We’re thrilled that women in every country, from every walk of life
and different organizations have taken our lead and are gathering in support of International Women’s
Day. That’s why long ago we begin planning the world’s largest gathering of women – physically and
virtually – to coincide with the 100th birthday of International Women’s Day,” Fellingham said.

About the 100th birthday of International Women’s Day, Fellingham said:
“What a marvelous opportunity we have to recognize the profound contributions women have made
during the past 100 years. Indeed, women today stand on the shoulders of magnificent women who
sacrificed much as they paved the way. Because of history’s courageous women, outstanding women
leaders today, and all women who work daily to strengthen others, we’re thrilled to sponsor a
gathering of the women of the world in celebration of International Women’s Day.”

Never before have women worldwide gathered on a single day, unified in celebration of womanhood.
The technology for such a gathering has not been available, and no women’s organization has attempted
such a feat.

through its worldwide membership of actively engaged, supportive women and through partnerships
with other organizations in 176 countries.
