The CURE Foundation Solidarity Fund continued to be an important support mechanism for individuals and families in difficult life situations in 2025. Through various activities and emergency interventions, the CURE Foundation allocated a total of 1,710 KM during the year to provide concrete assistance to people in need, demonstrating that solidarity and care for the community remain among the fundamental values of our work.
The Solidarity Fund funds were used to cover the costs of emergency accommodation, when families were faced with situations that required a rapid response and the provision of a safe place to stay. This support was intended for people who found themselves in a state of social and economic insecurity, unable to provide themselves with basic living conditions, helping them, at least in the short term, to overcome everyday problems in times of increased costs and inflation.
Part of the funds are also directed to support the Nezuk – Potočari Peace March, an event that has a deep social and symbolic significance in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Through this support, the CURE Foundation expressed solidarity with the participants of the March, thus contributing to the preservation of a culture of remembrance, empathy and joint action against forgetting.
By supporting the humanitarian project “No child without a gift”, through which it was possible for children from socially disadvantaged families to receive gifts and feel the joy of the holiday season, the CURE Foundation wanted to contribute to creating a sense of belonging, attention and dignity for children who grow up in difficult conditions.
In addition, packages of basic necessities are provided for women and girls from economically disadvantaged families. The packages contained products necessary for daily life and personal hygiene, and their distribution was aimed at providing support to women who often face multiple forms of economic and social pressure. Through this activity, the CURE Foundation tried to respond to the specific needs of women and girls, but also to point out the importance of continuous concern for the dignity and quality of life in the community.
