BeFem, a festival of feministic culture and action, wants to promote ideas and politics of feminism and to encourage young women to get involved and contribute in re/constructing reality. The festival is a continuation of what the feminist movement has been doing so far and at the same time it is opening new fields of action through dialogue and initiatives with feminists with different background. This year BeFem was formed through cooperation between activists, theorists and musicians from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia and Sweden. Financial support is given by the Swedish Institute.
BeFem consists of three program parts; Politics, Action and Creation (discussions, workshops, design), Projection (films by and about women) and Body, Soul and Voice (women artists on the stage).
BeFem lasts just one day, Saturday the 5th of December, from 12-02 in Cultural Centre GRAD.
