It is based on the learned lessons of women who have survived all forms of war violence in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The project provides the opportunity for sharing messages of resistance, survival, hope, and peace from a women’s perspective.

Even 25 years after the Dayton peace treaty, Bosnia and Herzegovina can not overcome the consequences of inadequate women participation in the peace negotiation process. Women were not present during negotiation, and the peace treaty did not take into consideration the needs of women and girls. This has led to negative consequences on the daily life of our citizens.

The workshop is organized within the project „Women and peacebuilding in Bosnia and Herzegovina“ which is financially supported by Women’s World Day of Prayer (WWDP) – German Committee.

* Foundation CURE will cover refreshment expenses for all participants of the workshop.

For all additional information feel free to reach out to Denija Hidić, activist and feminist of the Foundation CURE in Sarajevo through e-mail: denija@fondacijacure.org or Elvedina Alić the president of Women Association „NERA“ udruzenjezenanera@gmail.com

We are looking forward to seeing you!

Team of the Foundation CURE!

Foundation CURE in cooperation with Women Association “ NERA “ invites women from Konjic and close area to workshop „Women and peacebuilding in Bosnia and Herzegovina” We, women activists want to create a safe space for women to share their stories and survival mechanisms in the last 25 years.
