\nhistory on March 8, 2011 in celebration of the 100th anniversary of International Women\u2019s Day.<\/p>\n
Paula Fellingham, CEO of The Women\u2019s Information Network (WIN) \u2014 the largest worldwide media
\nand social network for women helping women \u2014 announced today that \u201cWIN will host International
\nWomen\u2019s Day \u2013 \u2018This is Our Time\u2019 concurrently in 10 U.S. cities and online through live Web streaming
\nin 176 countries to celebrate and honor women, past, present and future.\u201d
\nJoined by female political leaders, celebrities, experts, thought leaders, musicians, mothers and
\ndaughters, the WIN International Women\u2019s Day festivities will occur concurrently in New York City,
\nWashington D.C., Chicago, Atlanta, Miami, Houston, Denver, Seattle, San Francisco, and Los Angeles.
\nLong-celebrated as a national holiday in 32 countries, Fellingham has worked tirelessly to raise
\nawareness of International Women\u2019s Day in America, where it has yet to be recognized as a national
\nholiday.<\/p>\n
\u201cSince organizing International Women\u2019s Day \u2013 \u2018This is Our Time\u2019 we have learned of other women\u2019s
\nevents planned for March 8, 2011. We\u2019re thrilled that women in every country, from every walk of life
\nand different organizations have taken our lead and are gathering in support of International Women\u2019s
\nDay. That\u2019s why long ago we begin planning the world\u2019s largest gathering of women \u2013 physically and
\nvirtually \u2013 to coincide with the 100th birthday of International Women\u2019s Day,\u201d Fellingham said.<\/p>\n
About the 100th birthday of International Women\u2019s Day, Fellingham said:

\ngathering of the women of the world in celebration of International Women\u2019s Day.\u201d
