Denija Hidi\u0107 is a feminist activist from Bosanski Petrovac, the town where the Women’s Anti-Fascist Front was formed. A political scientist by profession, she is currently studying for a master’s degree in social work at the Faculty of Political Sciences in Sarajevo. Since 2013, she has been employed at the CURE Foundation, where she works on various tasks and projects related to women’s rights and gender equality, as well as on educational programs adapted for high school students on the topic of gender-based violence and violence in youth relationships. She also works with young activists on the topic of feminism and activism, as well as in the field of textbook analysis and textbook policy. In addition, she is actively working on advocating the improvement of the Constitution of Bosnia and Herzegovina through the Women Citizens for Constitutional Reform Initiative. Economic empowerment of women is also a topic she deals with, as well as peace activism through the promotion of women’s experiences and history. She edits the websites of the CURE Foundation and the Women’s Network of Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as social networks. In her spare time, she researches the internet, cyber feminism and the online space, which is the new front line for violence against women and girls, which has increased exponentially during the COVID-19 pandemic and isolation. She deals with women’s issues and actively advocates system changes in Bosnia and Herzegovina society.<\/p>\n
